A$AP Rocky & Rod Stewart Team Up For Karaoke In The Back Of An SUV

With one official collaboration (and one crazy rumor) already to their name, A$AP Rocky and Rod Stewart once again pooled their talents Tuesday night--to perform karaoke in an SUV on CBS's The Late Late Show With James Corden. In a skit that Corden calls "Carpool Karaoke," the host asserted that he had been in a rush to work, and needed both Stewart and, later, Rocky to hop in and help get him into the carpool lane. And sing, it seems.

Stewart smirked as he sung along to his own recording of "The First Cut is the Deepest," before making it to "In A Broken Dream," the latter of which was heavily sampled by Rocky on recent single "Everyday." Right on cue, the MC appears to teleport into the vehicle and we're off down the carpool lane as he raps (covered by a massive number of bleeps). Was A$AP there in the car all along, hiding behind the back seat waiting for the right time to strike, did the power of Rod Stewart's voice call out to him through time and space? Or was it just some creative editing by The Late Late Show's staff? Whatever the case, the whole bit is quite entertaining, and you can watch it in full below.
