A$AP Rocky's a name we won't soon forget. But where did he come from? How did the mob form? What about his process makes him as prolific as Kanye claims to be? All of these questions shall soon be answered in Noisey's upcoming mini-doc series SVDDXNLY, which will feature a score of Rocky's hits and unreleased instrumentals from his upcoming Beauty & The Beast : Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1.) The doc shows signs of promise, as it features interviews with the whole A$AP crew (who we've already established can do no wrong) Rihanna, Drake, Kathy Griffin, Snoop Dogg, Jeremy Scott and a whole lot more.
The doc promises to not only chart A$AP's ascent, but also delve into Rocky's role as the seminole figure in the group, as well as how he has seemingly penetrated every aspect of the entertainment industry, from fashion to film and right back to this hip-hop game. The five-part mini-doc serier begins August 5th on Noisey and will run on a weekly basis, giving you all the A$AP origin tales you need.
