Go Dreamer — 'The Outta Here Project' [Album Stream + Download]
Today, Atlanta hip-hop mutant Go Dreamer premiered The OuttaHere Project and it's full of phonk-ified Southern rap vibes provided by The Flush and Dreamer's easy-going flow. Clearly influenced by the Georgia royalty that is Outkast (he was shouted out on Big Boi's last album and contributed production to the project), Go Dreamer is taking psychedelic Atlanta trip-hop into the new age with unlikely sonic juxtapositions strewn throughout the album's 18 tracks. With features from fellow Southern rhymers Big K.R.I.T., Forte Bowie and Trinidad James (hey, why not?), Go Dreamer gives us his refreshing take on Atlanta tripped-out rap. In one of the two bonus tracks included on OuttaHere, Go Dreamer collaborated with Miami-based Niko Javan for "Black Dawg," which features some crazy classic dance samples that will indeed "make you sweat and make you groove." Peep the equally double-take-inducing video for the song below, get a taste of "Electro Phonk" featuring Big K.R.I.T. below and then stream/download The OuttaHere Project in its entirety (via bandcamp).
