Hot on the heels (seriously--her heels look wild hot in those boysenberry-colored knee-highs) of her late night debut (?) with the appropriately-titled "4 AM," Melanie Fiona drops something new on us in the form of this slow-burner "Rock, Paper, Scissors." MF uses the soulful scratch in her voice to deliriously good effect on the vocal and even just going by the lyric-sheet, this is one of those songs that will make other songwriters say, Goddamn I wish I had thought of that first.
