A few weeks back, we lost a blues giant in the passing of the legendary BB King. And while much of the musical community is still reeling from the loss, there's now concern over the manner in which he passed, with the two of the late King's daughter's alleging serious foul play. Those who have followed the deteriorating health of King know that there have been fiery accusations from the King family directed at manager Laverne Toney, claiming BB's manager --who also had power of attorney-- had boosted millions from the blue giant in his final weeks and that he was abused in his late days, but little came of the accusations. Adding insult to loss, daughters Karen Williams and Patty King are coming out with allegations of King being poisoned by his longtime manager, and now a criminal investigation is underway. There have yet to be statements made by either the Las Vegas PD or Toney's camp, but we'll surely be keeping our eye on the matter as it develops. Here's hoping that there's little truth to the the accusations, and if there is any validity to the claims, that there is swift justice for those at fault.
