The biopic news (and rumor machine) keeps on turning, and we're certainly not about to complain. Over the weekend, Big Boi hinted at the possibility of a film adaptation of the Outkast story with the words "Me and 'Dre were just discussing this over Labor Day. Stay tuned."
The statement came during a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session, one carefully timed with the imminent release of Big Boi'sBig Grams collaboration with Phantogram.
There you have it--both members of Outkast spending their holiday threekend discussing whether or not they should option their own hip-hop odyssey for a Hollywood feature. Our response is an emphatic "Yes!," but we'll just have to be patient and see what comes about. Andre 3000 has already made it clear that he'd like, of all people, Leonardo DiCaprio, to play him in an Outkast movie. Here's hoping that it all comes together and we see 'Kast broadcasted on the silver screen sometime soon.
