After just unveiling the artwork, track list and release date of the forthcoming Big Grams EP yesterday, Big Boi & Phantogram's first single from the collaborative project is upon us. And it's a doozy, if I may say so. "Fell In The Sun" marks a fine debut from the musical collision, building off the musical superpowers of each respective party, melding jet-set hip-hop and electrically charged indie rock elements for a mother of a party track. The Outkast alum's machine gun delivery is a perfect fit on a glitchy, yet massive production, hard-knocking, yet graceful. And Sarah Barthel's hook is a heavenly thing, soaring cooly over rapid-fire hi-hats and percussive synth touches. The Big Grams EP is slated to land on September 25th via Epic Records.
