Watch A Hilarious Trailer For Black Dynamite's Musical Special Starring Erykah Badu & Tyler The Creator
Black Dynamite is set to explore the land of the Rodney Munchkings in tomorrow night's star-powered police brutality musical special "The Wizard Of Watts." We've already treated you to the words of the episode's penman Carl Jones, providing us with a little background on an episode he deems to be blacker than The Wiz. But today, we're getting our very first taste of what promises to be perhaps the sharpest and (obviously) most cartoonish critique of the current social and political climate revolving around the deaths of Michael Brown, Eric Garner and every man, woman and child that have been effected by those tragedies.
The trailers stars the wonderful Miss Erykah Badu as a...ehem...crow and Tyler The Creator as a not-so cute&fluffy poodle with an insatiable sexual appetite, both of which are along for this poignant and distorted take on Dorothy's tale, where actual swine maraud the streets in kevlar vests under the guise of public service. And BD's only true weapon against the tyranny of the pigiarchy; a camera, of course.
