Black Eyed Peas Deliver Their Ode To Hip-Hop's Classics w/ Surprise Single "Yesterday"
Black Eyed Peas take it all the way back with a retrospective of hip-hop's most cherished cuts in the very animated visual for their surprise single "Yesterday." It finds the core unit (will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo) scouring a record store like the crate diggers they are, even embedding themselves in some of the most iconic album covers of the last 30 years (3 Feet High And Rising, Mecca & The Soul Brother, Straight Outta Compton and, well, everything under the damn sun) for a track that stitches together the hooks of many of those trophies of hip-hop past into one pretty cheesy number, no doubt costing them a fortune, but with the best and most noble of intention at heart (though some of you will inevitably cry "blaspheme!" at the very sight.) You can watch Black Eyed Peas raise a flag for the culture in the video for "Yesterday" below via Apple Music.
