Black Milk Links w/ Bun B For New Single "Gold Piece"
Black Milk taps the extraordinary lyrical talent of Southern King Bun B (AKA The Eternally Trill One) for his latest drop "Gold Piece" off the anxiously anticipated forthcoming album If There's Hell Below. Milk's long been the torchbearer of Detroit's swing (along with cats like Karriem Riggins, of course) tactfully injecting the cut with sugary soul chops (squirrel-voice and all) over an endlessly deep pocket, booming with that Hitsville steez.
We've already seen a litany of new joints with his homage to The New Dance Show, lending his verbal to a recent Dilla cut with "We On" and strutting some more of that collaborative flame with punk-funkers BADBADNOTGOOD on "Now Or Never," but here's another for you to bop with. Listen to Black Milk and Bun B do work on "Gold Piece" below and preorder If There's Hell Below via iTunes today ahead of its October 28th release. Until then, you can catch your boy on a stage near you, so be sure to peep the dates.
