Black Milk x Nat Turner Rock The Boat Live In Paris [Photos + Recap]

As has already been noted Black Milk and Nat Turner (Aaron "Ab" Abernathy - keys/vocals;  Malik Hunter — bass; Zeb Horton — drums; Bill Sharp/Tablesauce — DJ) are the other best live show in hip-hop. Last week (Monday, November 25th) they brought the show to Le Batofar--a boat docked on the Seine river in Paris--and literally rocked the boat. Our man in Paris Mr. Mass was on the seen, and had this to say:

I've been following Milk ever since, this was the first time I got to meet him (and shoot him) in person was on that same boat in paris in 2009 he was performing by himself with Hex Murda on the turntables. Then through the intervening years I've seen him performing MANY TIMES and I never get tired of him on stage; the energy he give to the crowd is insane plus his live band is just tremendous (special mention to the new drummer young Zeb from Detroit who’s a drum murderer). Hardcore Detroit fans are legion in Paris (don’t ask me why, I have no clue) but Paris and Milk have that special relationship that's even beyond--the Paris crowd got mad love for Milk and show it to him everytime he shows up.

--as any fool can see from the all action shots in the gallery above--as an extra bonus watch Nat Turner vamping on a sped up take on The T1me's classic "The B1rd" --or is it the breakdown from the end of "N1neteen-N1nety-N1ne"? (In case you're wondering, I'm using 1s for iis to fool the purple robots Pr1nce has trawling the web at all times, looking for people foolish enough to use snippet sof his compositions. I'll let you know if it works). Either way Detroit to Paris and back to Minneapolis never sounded so crunk. Enjoy and if you're a Black Milk stan make sure to check out his turn at "The Questions" for Okayplayer TV and this ill original song he created with AKUA for our Player Xchange series.
