Black Simon & Garfunkel reemerges from NYC's underbelly of seedy coffee lounges and record shops to throw the dahkness onto Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" live on The Tonight Show. We hadn't heard from the folk gawds since they took the world by six-string storm earlier this year with their equally gratifying rework of anti-pop queen Lorde's "Royals," but in standard form, the duo reimagined the Swift's bouncy hit as a more dire acoustic ballad; led by a tender vocal arrangement that pulls on all the heart-strings.
