Black Thought, Chuck D & Pharoahe Monch Blaze Living Colour's "Who Shot Ya?" Remake

We were warned. A month back, Living Colour revealed that their comeback record was well on the way, but not before they release their MIXTAPE EP, landing September 9th fully-loaded with remixes of Biggie's iconic (and somewhat controversial) "Who Shot Ya?." Today our first taste of the project surfaces, featuring an all-star cast of heavyweight emcees including, Black Thought, Chuck D, Pharoahe Monch, Prodigal Sunn and Kyle Mansa. Trading politically-charged bars, the classic is brought into the light of a new century, addressing police brutality and gun violence. You can hear the hard-knocking remix down below, just be sure to catch Living Colour this fall and winter season as they embark on a worldwide tour.
