Brian Williams Returns To The Tonight Show To Slow Jam The News w/ The Roots

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Brian Williams is probably the best sport in all of network news programming. Case in point, the man who's lent us his soundbites to be repurposed for for all of your G-funk favorites (see "Nothin' But A G Thing," "Gin & Juice" and "Regulate") has returned to The Tonight Show to grace us with a new installment of the ever hilarious (and equally sensual) Slow Jam The News segment with a little help from The Roots and Jimmy Fallon. Last night's redux of the famed bit tackled immigration to the tune of what seemed like a reworked version of Teddy Pendergrass' "Love TKO" with Fallon chiming in on the low-end seduction and Black Thought giving us a little croon to round things out. All of which, begs the question: wouldn't it be nice if your nightly news got the Black Elvis treatment on the regular? I guess we can always dream. Watch Brian Williams and The Roots slow jam the news on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon below.
