Camp Lo & Ski Beatz Announce Collab LP 'Ragtime Hightimes' w/ Trippy Clip For New Single "Bright Lights"
Camp Lo and Ski Beatz have a nearly 20 year history of bringing you the finest in underground gems since they first linked in 1997 to bring us the bonafide classic Uptown Saturday Night. While Ski's been putting in work with the likes of Curren$y, Smoke DZA, Murs, Tabi Bonney and the like (not to mention hitting us with his very first solo outings in the 24 Hour Karate School series) it seems like the perfect time to rekindle the collaborative spark with the Camp that keeps on keepin'. Today, they've announced a new joint venture in-the-making with the arrival of a wavy clip for "Bright Lights"; the inaugural single from the freshly announced Ragtime Hightimes LP. The project is due to arrive May 19th via Nature Sounds and finds the trio coming from a whole new space in their creative connection. Ragtime Hightimes will find the legendary Bronx duo and the equally heralded beat smith utilizing live instrumentation in order to build what they like to call "time-traveling art."
