Chiraq phenom Chance The Rapper steps up to the plate to drop an exclusive freestyle in celebration of his place on the 2014 Freshman cover of XXL Magazine. The honor follows the release of his critically-acclaimed Acid Rap mixtape and various features, which have only added to his growing popularity since the project's arrival. The a capella freestyle from Chance is the first to debut from the 2014 Freshman series, which will feature verses from the other MC's chosen for the cover. Though the introspective lyrics from Chano feel like something closer to a spoken word piece or spiritual incantation than a face-melting freestyle, the off-center approach is not a total surprise coming from him.
