Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment Have The "No Better Blues"

Chance The Rapper and his ensemble The Social Experiment just dropped a somber new loosie in "No Better Blues." Minimal and understated, Chance runs down a list of all the things he hates while a whispery hook floats, chanting "it just don't get better" over a simple and clean drums and phased-out piano progression. It's not a particularly bluesy track in the traditional sense, but it does provide us with a particularly interesting quandary: with so many things to hate, what's left to love? It's the first we've heard from the home studio of the rapper they call Chance since those earnest demos dropped back in the spring and he linked up with fellow Chi-town champ Common on the remix of "Fight Or Flight". So it's nice to see your boy back at it. Still no word on when we can expect a necessary follow-up to Acid Rap or if roommate James Blake will ever get some shine on a cut, but you know where to get the scoop when details start rolling out. Bide your time and peep the latest from Chance with "No Better Blues" below.
