Chi-Town rapper and 777 representative Kembe X is allegedly the latest to join the formidable Top Dawg Entertainment roster. A storehouse of rap's best and brightest, TDE has built a deep bench of forward thinkers that tend to eschew the formulaic and embrace creative risk to the tune of fire results. One month after signing Lance Skiiiwalker, the label seems eager to keep the ball rolling with the rumored addition of X. An acclaimed underground talent, X's relative silence following the release of his self-titled 2014 EP makes a bit more sense given his reemergence in a TDE chain.
