Childish Gambino Releases Artwork For New Album '...Awaken My Love!'
Childish Gambino has released the new artwork for his forthcoming album ...Awaken My Love! via Twitter. Gambino's new project, a follow-up to 2013's Because the Internet, comes on the heels of his wildly successful FX show Atlanta and grabbing the role of a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming untitled Han Solo standalone Star Wars film. The film should be coming out in 2018. The artwork for Glover's new album actually appeared in the Atlanta episode “Juneteenth.” Full circle, some might say. The album was teased not too far back during a three day festival called the Pharos experience that Gambino held in Joshua Tree, CA. Read more about the festival here. Time passed and then a few days ago more confirmation came through. A photo from a FYE store surfaced showing that Gambino's new album was coming, and soon. The picture fueled speculation that the album will arrive on December 2nd via Glassnote. It'll be Donald Glover's third album. Considering the political conditons here in the states, the album is very, very much welcomed. The sooner the better. A track list has yet to have surfaced but make sure to keep ya eyes open for Gambino's new album ...Awaken My Love!
