Childish Gambino adds yet another impressive visual to his roster with the unveiling of the lighthearted clip for his latest single "Sober." If finds Bino wooing a dame in a diner with some surprisingly great dancing, taking it from the floor to the table and back again in an earnest attempt to gain her affection, which perfectly compliments the clouded boogie of the track. There does seem to be some deeper symbolism here though, with birds magically manifesting and a sort of desperate expression on his face. Perhaps Glover's playing jester in our court? Or is he just playing into the whole mystery-wrapped-in-a-riddle thing? One thing is for sure though, that the visual is wholly entertaining and perhaps his most straightforward yet. It is but the latest in a set of stunning clips that have come from him and visionary director Hiro Murai. The track comes to us from his recently released STN MTN/kauai tape/EP, which was a 2014 favorite for at least this Okayplayer. You can cop that via iTunes today, but be sure to get a taste of the madness with Childish Gambino's video for "Sober" below.
