Chris Brown Arrested in Florida for Felony Battery Charge

The singer was arrested for an out of country warrant stemming from a 2017 felony battery charge .
Chris Brown was arrested on Thursday after a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida for an out of county warrant. The singer had been performing at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre as part of his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour before he was arrested on a felony battery charge.
TMZ reports several officers waited for Brown to get off stage before arresting and booking him into the Palm Beach County Jail.
Authorities say he was arrested for hitting a photographer in April 2017 in Tampa. The warrant alleges Brown battered Bennie Vines Jr., who was hired by a club to take photos during an event Brown was hosting.

Brown was released after posting $2,000 bond on the battery charge issued by the sheriff’s office in Hillsborough County.
The 29-year-old’s record of violence includes a 2016 arrest on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, and a guilty plea to felony assault for beating up his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
