Update: Chris Brown Denies Rape Accusations: "This is False"
Update: Chris Brown has been released from police custody. He was not charged with anything, according to CNN.
Soon after, he went to Instagram to deny the claim that he raped the woman.

Chris Brown has been detained.
On Monday, January 22, singer Chris Brown, his bodyguard, and another person were detained in Paris after a woman filed a rape complaint, according to Associated Press.

The woman told French officials that she met Brown and his crew at a club called Le Crystal in northwestern Paris last Wednesday. Soon after, they went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in central Paris.
Brown was taken in on potential aggravated rape and drug infractions charges. According to the AP, investigators have to decide within the next two days if they want to file preliminary charges.
