A Texas judge recently granted a restraining order filed by the child's mother.
Cyntoia Brown has been ordered to stay away from her husband, Jaime Long's 11-year-old stepson. Power 99 reports that a Texas judge recently granted a restraining order filed by the child's mother, Stacy Kirkland.
According to court documents obtained by Bossip, Kirkland is concerned about the wellbeing and safety of her son when he's with Long. In an affidavit she wrote that she does not believe Jaime "will take proper measures to protect (the boy) from danger." Bossip reports that Kirkland lives in Texas with her son while Long moved to Tennessee to be closer to Brown.
Under Long and Kirkland's agreed parenting plan, one parent allegedly was supposed to alert the other if they "intended to marry or live with someone else." The Bossip report states that in court papers, Kirkland heard from third parties that Long was in a relationship with Brown. This led to her filing a motion to change "their son's custody terms and seek a restraining order that would stop Brown from coming within 500 feet of her son."
Brown was released in August after serving 15 years in prison for murder. The former sex trafficking victim earned two college degree while she served time.
