Author of Black Messiah (and so many other things we absolutely love), D'Angelo is set to headline New York's legendary Apollo Theater on February 7th at 8PM. The show, which precedes the highly-anticipated launch of D's Second Coming European Tour, marks both his first at the venue as a headliner and his first time returning to the stage at the iconic uptown venue since the 90's; D'Angelo reportedly graced the stage at The Apollo in the early part of the decade as an Amateur Night At The Apollo contestant and performed again circa the rise of Brown Sugar. The upcoming show will mark the first full live performance of the Black Messiah LP. Tickets for the show are slated to go on sale at 10 AM EST on January 21st.
