You probably already got word of the magic that rained down on Brooklyn Monday night when D'Angelo and our jefe ?uestlove stepped on stage at BK Bowl to deliver a stripped-down, yet richly-textured, master course on what can be accomplished with just a drum kit, keyboard and voice. For those who wanted to be there (and the lucky ones that were there but want to relive it over and over and...) Okayafrica TV captured the Soulquarian brothers' rendition of Voodoo closer "Africa" — a homage to D'Angelo's son turned philosophical tribute to the continent, heritage and God (coincidently, ?uesto's favorite track off that classic LP).
