Danger Mouse Has Launched His Own Record Label

Despite his absence on all things internet, the enigmatic Danger Mouse has been busy as ever, working diligently behind-the-scenes on records from A$AP Rocky, Adele and Gorillaz, as well as a forthcoming project from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Each of these obviously feeding a distinct quadrant of the madcap music man's seemingly infinite capacity for recording. But with a catalogue so vast and so dynamic at once, it's hard to call any of it truly his, which is all about to change. Danger Mouse has inked a deal in collaboration with Columbia to launch his very own record label, which will be subject to intimate involvement from the man that brought us The Grey Album and half of Dangerdoom. The aptly named 30th Century Records will be hub to those countless musical personalities, each slightly more distorted than the last, all coalescing under one roof and one mind. Word has it that he'll also be exclusively signing artist, ditching the middle man to write the next chapter in the weird and wild saga that is Danger Mouse. So aspiring musicians take heed: it seems there's a new (okay) player in town.
