The ever progressive artist known as Def Sound has plans of blessing us with a new album next month. Def makes a strong return with this first single, "i N e e d Y o u 2 K n o w .” Says Def of the track: "I wanted to lead w/ this song because it was a genre stretcher and it was a song I didn't plan on making, but it kinda made me. This song is started as a one take voice note I didn't write down in my Koreatown apartment and turned into a full co production between young prodigy Zack Sekoff and I w/ additional sprinkles of additional vocals and string section by Kadhja Bonet of Genesea.” The song will appear on Def’s upcoming album, ∆∆∆'s • o f • N e o n • (pronounced Kings of Neon), which will be out on October 23rd via Def’s new audio/visual label, // Y E ∀ ​W H A T E V E R // Records.
