UK producer and composer Jon Hopkins has worked hard to establish a certain sonic fingerprint--one of relentless forward motion that remains rough around the edges. Now, Hopkins has delivered a very special remix of "Magnets," the latest Lorde-assisted single from modern dance stars Disclosure. And while the original was a dramatic tale of inescapable attraction, Jon Hopkins's new version is barely recognizable. He's taken the raw material of "Magnets" and sent it through a kind of wormhole; it's been stretched out, sped up and reconfigured into something truly wild.
