The UK's newly crowned electronic kings Disclosure tapped the states' own royalty Nile Rodgers, go-to UK vocalist Sam Smith and some added production from Jimmy Napes for a mother of a collaboration with the one-off single "Together." The track bumps seven shades of funk; a clean, glittery synth bounce over some snaps, claps and Nile's patented reverb-laden "Hitmaker" riffs, all topped with some lush layered falsetto's from Sam. It's a real treat for both the novice and more experienced funkateer, but it's also a welcome change of pace from Nile's first single this year (if "Get Lucky" was the sunshine, this here is the dirt) You can hear the crew get "Together" below, but be sure that collar's popped and those wayfarers are intact, cause this one's a true-boogie throwback.
