DJ Premier proves his funk shines through no matter which continent it is conceived in with the electric one-off "Til It's Done" featuring Russian synth-freak BMB Spacekid and cool crooner Anderson Paak. A recent trip to the former Soviet state with Boiler Room found Preemo mixing it up with some fresh blood, the product of which is this buoyant and effortlessly funky joint. The Spacekid does diligent work in providing the cosmic chords, while Paak handles the vocal with grit and grace, and Preemo cuts it up supremely, as only he could, all making for a delectable dose of electro-funk that could very well score your next rooftop shindig or even accompany you on a top-down ride through sunny Malibu (or St. Petersburg for that matter.) No you can't get this joint on any compilation, but you can stream and download the cut in all of its funky glory for the righteously low price of free.
