Glover took to Instagram to share he'll be teaming up with Andrew Yang on a pop-up in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Donald Glover has endorsed Democratic candidate Andrew Yang for the upcoming 2020 presidential election.

The artist took to Instagram earlier today to show his support for Yang via his Instagram Stories. In what appears to be a vague endorsement, Glover also hinted at a pop-up event slated to take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 19.

The event will happen at 507 Fairfax Ave. at noon. At the moment, there are no other details available on the fundraiser. If the artist performs it would be his first concert since the Austin City Limits festival in October. The actual location of the special gathering is Tried + True boutique alluding to a merch giveaway or launch.

Andrew Yang has had a bit of an unconventional run so far for the race to the White House. One talking point that has been pushing him forward since he announced his bid is his “Freedom Dividend” proposal. This plan would give each American $1,000 a month after they turn 18. The only hangup with this proposal is the fact that Americans would have to forego other government assistance to receive the $1,000, reports CBS. It’s also worth mentioning that despite struggling in recent polls, Yang has managed to fundraise $10 million for his campaign.

Glover joins Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and actor Nicolas Cage as supporters of Yang. Cage has donated to the candidate’s campaign in recent months, according to Elle.

On the stage at Thursday’s Democratic debate taking place at Loyola Marymount University he will be the only person of color following Kamala Harris’ exit.
