McDonald's PR Reportedly Says Drake Gave $200 not $20K to Employees

Update: McDonald's PR reportedly denies Drake giving $20K to Two L.A. employees

On Wednesday night, a CNN reporter tweeted that McDonald's PR company stated that Drake did not tip the employees $10,000 and that he gave them $100 each instead.

The Twitter user who was sourced as revealing that Drake had entered the McDonald's insists that Drake did, indeed gift the two employees$10, 000 each, claiming one worker was a friend, and another cried hysterically in the back of the restaurant afterward.

He continued, adding another tweet to his initial thread from the day of the encounter, saying Drake had entered the restaurant to use the bathroom after going through the drive-thru first.

Drake has yet to comment.

The "God's Plan" rapper reportedly gave $10,000 in cash to two women working in the restaurant.

Last year, Drake gave away $1 million to Miami residents while filming his music video for his hit, “God’s Plan.”

It's unclear whether his latest charitable deeds are tied to a project rollout, but he did have cameras capture the moment. Drizzy posted a photo to his Instagram Tuesday night, that appeared to show him and a security guard in a McDonald's speaking to workers behind the counter.

A Twitter user claimed to have witnessed the rapper making the real-time donations, tweeting, “Just saw Drake in McDonald’s… crazy,” adding, “And he gave two female employees $10,000 each… in cash.”

Drak hasn't released a statement on the donations but he may be up to some good. We'll have to wait and see.
