Earl Sweatshirt "Hive" Live at Uncapped

On Monday, Earl Sweatshirt and Vince Staples performed "Hive" in a revamped garage on New York's Lower East Side as part of the #uncapped concert series hosted by The Fader and Vitamin Water. With Doris, Sweatshirt's highly anticipated debut studio album set to release August 20, they were able to gather what looks like a small but committed crowd at the location, which was announced only an hour before show time. I always get a bit of an eerie vibe from Earl, though he's certainly one of the more understated members of Odd Future. Regardless, that don't-move-too-fast-or-I-might-eat-you quality bled right through to this intimate performance. Fellow OFWGKTA collaborator Syd Tha Kid handled the beats and the next day, Sweatshirt dropped the official visuals for "Hive" with Staples and Casey Veggies providing support. Check out the performance below and be sure to stay on the lookout for Doris later this summer — it's sure to be a banger given what we've already seen.
