Eminem Talks 'MMLP2' & More With Zane Lowe In Pt. 1 Of The Interview
Eminem talks the Marshall Mathers LP 2 and the evolution of the story he first began on the Marshall Mathers LP in the inaugural episode of The Interview featuring the legendary Detroit lyricist on BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe. Eminem begins by attempting to top Kanye's highly-publicized interview with Lowe, before getting down to business. Em breaks down his thoughts about revisiting the project that many consider to be his definitive work, his approach to a follow-up and his initial meeting with Rick Rubin as production for the album began to get underway; Eminem goes into depth about his admiration for Rubin and his apprehension about whether they would work well together given his deep desire to impress him combined with their lack of familiarity prior to the start of the project. It seems Em's fears were put to rest once the tracks began to come together. Take a look at the footage below to watch the first installment of The Interview with Eminem and Zane Lowe.
