Flying Lotus - "Coronus, The Terminator" [Official Video]

Flying Lotus unveiled a stirring, downright gut-wrenching new clip for his latest single "Coronus, The Terminator" off the critically cherished You're Dead! LP. As much of the record and visual assists have hit the brooding, anguished notes of his tortured free-jazz prism, the new clip follows suit with another cinematic treatment -- directed by Young Replicant -- that's sure to ring the tears out of you and maybe even hit a heart-string or two on the way. The video follows yet another path out of the physical world as a man lay dying, surrounded by his mourning loved ones. Soon we realize we've left his body and entered a sort of G-funked pre-purgatory, where death takes the form of FlyLo himself and a group of his dusty, white-clad cronies that hypnotically move through the otherworldly realm. It is, of course, just the latest visual to accompany the album that many are calling one of the best 2014 had to offer.
