It appears Flying Lotus will once again be tapping into his madcap aesthetic and cinematic sensibilities this week, premiering a short film at Sundance Next this Sunday. FUCKKKYOUUU is directed by Eddie Alcazar and will likely feature a score from the BRAINFEEDER chief, cementing his takeover of sound and sight at large. Last year this very same offshoot of the prestigious film festival played host to his Kahlil Joseph-helmed short for Kendrick Lamar's "m.A.A.d" , so attendees should at least be wary of the imminent audiovisual bomb that is to come.
Meanwhile, over in TV land, FlyLo can be found alongside Hannibal Buress on his breakout solo program Why? spinning the Street Fighter sound effects and the occasional liquid loosie from what he imagine to be a bottomless vault. The weekend will also play host to musical performances from fellow genre-destroyers Toro Y Moi and Neon Indian, so be sure to hit the link below for a chance to cop a stub for all of the mayhem. Check back with us next week for the official release and hold tight for all things Flying Lotus as he continues his reign as this generation's most prolific creative.
