Youtube star and former The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore contributor Franchesca Ramsey could be getting her own nightly show on Comedy Central.

According to Vanity Fair, Comedy Central has ordered nine pilot orders and three series pick-ups. One of those pilots ordered is a yet-to-be-titled show from Ramsey. Show details are still sparse, but it has been described as aiming to provide  “the most diverse set of comedians on TV” that will “heal America through brutal comedy, surprising guests, and breakdowns of the most pressing cultural issues you never knew you cared about.”

Sounds interesting to us.

Ramsey was ecstatic when announcing the news on her Twitter account:

The other interesting bit of news to come out of Comedy Central's buying spree is that they picked up a series from underground rapper Open Mike Eagle. The show is called The New Negroes, and it's being described as “a socially aware stand-up and musical series showcasing a collection of new and established comedians.”

Considering how it's described, the show has already been compared to Chappelle's Show and Key & Peele.
