UPDATE: Frank Ocean Cancels His 'Hangout Music Festival' Performance
UPDATE: A couple of days after Frank Ocean canceled his Sasquatch! Festival performance due to "production delays beyond his control,” the reclusive singer has canceled another performance. Frank Ocean will not be headlining Hangout Music Festival, in Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 19th.
The festival announced the news on their Twitter account:
Now, we're sure you noticed, like we did, that "production delays beyond his control" was the same excuse he used for canceling his Sasquatch! Festival performance.
So...it seems like something might be up. Ocean's next scheduled performance is at Primavera Sound, in Barcelona, Spain on May 31.
Will Frank show up?
See the original story below:
Frank Ocean hasn't performed since the release of his sophomore album, Blonde, last year.
That is going to change in May, where the reclusive singer has three dates.
Well, at least he had three dates.
Frank Ocean was supposed to headline the Sasquatch! Festival, which will take place at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. That's off.
It was just announced that Ocean will no longer be performing at the festival. The reasoning? There was “production delays beyond his control.” Taking Frank Ocean's place is LCD Soundsystem, a great but very different act.
Frank's next performance is at the Hangout Music Festival, which will go down on May 19th. As of now, that is still on.
