On Tuesday, Freeway posted a video to Instagram while in a hospital bed with the caption, "I’m going under now! Thanks for all the Love & support! Pray for me!!"
In the video, he appears to be in good spirits, joking that the only things he's allergic to are "haters and broke people."
In January, he posted a photo with his surgeon on Instagram, writing, "I’m 1 step closer to receiving a new kidney."
Freeway released his latest project, Think Free in June, with features from Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Jadakiss, BJ The Chicago Kid, Fat Joe and Faith Evans.
Here's to a speedy recovery.
