OKP News: Ghostface Killah Announces New LP & Comic x w/ Adrian Younge & RZA

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

This mysterious and tantalizingly Wu-tastic poster art came across our desk last week, pretty much devoid of meta-data (and promoting a non-functioning web address) but now the news has officially broken: Ghostface Killah is dropping a new album before Christmas (again, poster says Nov. 20th but now we are hearing December) with an accompanying Black Mask comic book. The album will be released on RZA's brand-new Soul Temple imprint (also handling the soundtrack for his Quentin Tarantino Fu-sploitation epic The Man With The Iron Fists) and executive produced by the man with the iron knobs himself. I know we probably had most of you at 'new Ghostface LP' but wait, there's more! Arguably the best bit of news about this whole thing is that the album will in fact be a collaboration with Black Dynamite composer, Venice Dawn creator and occasional OKP contributor Adrian Younge. And knowing the depth of that man's record collection there are 12 reasons to die but 6 million ways to flip a string section. Choose one.
