Ghostface Killah x Get On Down '12 Reasons To Die' Limited Edition Packages

Get On Down Records has teamed with Ghostface Killah to offer a limited run release of his latest LP 12 Reasons To Die produced by Adrian Younge. The 12 Delucas Private Press Version package offers a number of goodies celebrating the epic project which chronicles the life and death of Tony Starks - a soldier for the 12 Delucas crime family who exacts revenge on his killers after he is savagely murdered and his remains are pressed into twelve vinyl records (for real--we could not make this stuff up ourselves). The packaging was developed alongside the LP and accompanying comic book. In an homage to the spaghetti western films which inspired the album Get On Down chose art direction that was decidedly gory - blood red vinyl included. This set caps the release of a rather genius project that looks and feels like a narrative opus marking the marriage of the Tarantino aesthetic with the unmistakable sound of the Wu-Tang Clan. As if Adrian Younge and Ghost hadn't done enough, Get On Down steps up and hits the ball out the park. If the ultra-exclusive super limited run releases of their storied past are any indication, it is highly likely that these joints will sell out within the first few days of availability.
