The Dungeon Family institution talked about their beginnings and the conscious decision they made to make meaningful music early on in their career; Gipp cites recording their first LP in Curtis Mayfield's home as a major motivator. They also touch on creative differences with their former label and other impediments that stood in the way of a formal reunion.
