Wu-Tang Is For The Children: How ODB Rescued a 4-Year-Old Brooklyn Girl in a Car Accident

Over the weekend, Spotify quietly launched their new animated series Drawn & Recorded, where stranger-than-fiction rock & roll stories come to life in technicolor cartoon vignettes. Amongst the first batch of 10 short stories lays a previously untold tale regarding some truly altruistic ODB antics, narrated by the one and only, T Bone Burnett.

The story follows ODB on his way home from a studio session in Bed-Stuy, when we witnesses a young girl get struck by a car while crossing the street. According to the scroll, told as an ancient Greek myth, The Dirty One got right to work rallying those around him to help lift the car she was trapped under and pried the girl, out ensuring her safety. She was admitted to a local hospital with second-degree burns and was visited by her savior in the hospital.

You can watch ODB strap on his cape and do the right thing by following the link below, just be sure to note that there are 9 other animated stories to explore, including those on Louis Armstrong Rick James, Neil Young, Kurt Cobain, The Allman Brothers and plenty more.
