"I'm Officially Not Releasing Anymore Music. Albums Cancelled\u201d - Lupe Fiasco

Late last night Lupe Fiasco released a polarizing new freestyle over J. Cole's "Everybody Dies" instrumental. The track, "N.E.R.D.," was full of subliminals, but was explicit in calling out "dirty Jewish execs" in one of its earlier lines. Fiasco spent the remainder of the twilight hours arguing about the line on his Twitter account (which has since gone private) before proclaiming that "I'm officially not releasing anymore music. Albums cancelled."

Fiasco stated that the track in question had been taken down from Soundcloud for "hate speech" (though it's definitely still available to stream.) Over the years, Fiasco has claimed many of his album to be his last, and roughly one year ago, claimed that he had as many as three new albums ready to go for 2016, but postponed them just a few months back citing sample clearances for the delay. There's really no telling if this is really the end for Lupe Fiasco (a familiar scenario for fans, no doubt,) but time will tell. Read Lupe's full sign-off via Pitchfork and be sure to keep your eyes on us for updates. Hopefully this wasn't his final transmission.
