During a recent show alongside members of De La Soul and Talib Kweli at the Grand Theater in Foxwoods, Connecticut, Dres revealed the name of the forthcoming album, as well as when it's slated to come out.

"I got this project that I'm dropping this spring," he told the crowd. "It's by DnD. DnD is Dilla and Dres. I got permission from Ma Dukes to go through like 500 folders of music...Some of this stuff is 15 years old that you haven't heard, and it's so far ahead of what it is. So y'all be on the lookout for this project. DnD. The name of the project is called No Words. Dilla and Dres. This spring."

In an interview with HipHopDX, the Black Sheep rapper explained how Dilla's mother, Ma Dukes, allowed him to go through a collection of the late producer's unreleased beats, which led to the creation of No Words.

"I had the chance to go through hundreds and hundreds of folders with the goal of putting a project together," Dres said. "I had only heard a portion of what’s stored away in Dilla’s storied collection, but what I was able to come up with is now nearing completion and cements in audio form how I felt about the opportunity."

Dres has shared a snippet of a song from the forthcoming project titled "Blessed The Life," which can be streamed below.
