Jack White Covers Kanye West's "Black Skinhead" Live

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Jack White gave Kanye West yet another tip of the hat as he covered the irreverent one's lead-off Yeezus single "Black Skinhead" live at a show in Dublin this past weekend. While White opened up the set with a mere instrument take of the riotous rocker, he makes it ever so clear that the two stars are destined to align at some point. If there were a more apt collaboration in the inter-genre cosmos, we simply haven't seen it yet (though we're quite to partial of Thundercat's own rework) While it seems Ye has put the notion of a collabo between the two pillars of hip-hop and rock on the back burner, we certainly hope this one gets through. Peep the fan-shot video of Jack White putting his touch on Yeezy's "Black Skinhead" below and keep those fingers crossed that West heeds the call. Cop White's latest LP Lazaretto over at Third Man Records and West's Yeezus via iTunes today.
