The good folks at Red Bull Sound Select just might be onto something. They've recently launched the new 20 Before 16 campaign to bring you new joints on the daily from some of the game's most compelling new talents. Today, Red Bull has continued that endeavor with the release of an acoustically-driven new ballad from meteoric vocalist Gallant and hitmaker du jour James Fauntleroy.
"Borderline" commences with restraint and a lone six-string strum, building to an explosive hook that allows Gallant to stretch out and soar over the tender composition, allowing each of their respective strong notes to shine brilliantly. This may be the first time we hear them on a collaborative effort, but after just one listen, you'll hope, like the rest of us, that it certainly isn't the last.
