Jay-Z announced tonight in a commercial during game five of the NBA finals that he will release a new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, next month. In the three-minute video clip, Hova says that his fifteenth studio album will be free on July 4th to the first million people who download a special app for the Samsung Galaxy. The mobile app, purchased exclusively on Google Play, will provide fans with an "unprecedented inside look into the album, personal stories and inspiration." The video includes short previews of new music in addition to clips of Jay-Z in the studio alongside Timbaland, Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, and Swizz Beatz.
