JAY-Z Earns Rare Billboard Record with 100 Solo Chart Appearances

JAY-Z just made another milestone.
The rap legend is now the sixth artist in history to earn 100 solo appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He joins Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne, Elvis Presley and the cast of Glee with the rare record.
JAY landed his 100th entry with the single "Mood 4 Eva" with Beyoncé and Childish Gambino, which appeared on The Lion King: The Gift album

More artists approaching the milestone include Kanye West with 96 solo entries and Future with 88
Hov made his Billboard Hot 100 debut in 1996 with his double single "Ain't No Nigga/Dead Presidents," which peaked on the chart at no. 50. He's reached the no. 1 spot four times in his career, the last time with his 2009 Alicia Keys collaboration, "Empire State of Mind."
