Jessie Ware And Dev Hynes "Want Your Feeling" In The Best Way
When we got word that the bolstering brilliance of Jessie Ware's whispery croon would be linking with the sculptor of pop's new funked-out digs Dev Hynes, our ears started salivating with anticipation. Her latest jump "Want Your Feeling" shows us exactly why. From those very first Motown-esque citar strutting moments to the submerged layer of strings, and Hynes' minimal, muted six-string touches, this left-field tandem finds the sweet spot between Giorgio Moroder's Italo-disco frequencies and the new pop prism, forging some new sonic territory of her own.
It's a rather quick follow-up to last month's equally blissful "Share It All" and the '90s-kid dream rework of the Arthur theme song with Chance The Rapper and Wyclef Jean. With singles dropping like feathers floating down from the heavens, there seems to be plenty to look forward to from the British do-it-all and her exceptionally talented crew of collaborators. The offering comes to us from Ware's much anticipated sophomore LP Tough Love, which will hit the digital and physical markets on October 6th and is available to preorder today via iTunes.
